
We are still needing some Volunteers to help as Course Sentries. The
course sentry is an important part of the race as each Sentry has the
responsibility to ensure that the race participants stay on the race route at
all time. We would need you as a course sentry from 7:30am until the last person in the
race passes by you. So, for most that would be about 2 hours.
We also need some help with Race Day Registration / Chip Taker 5:45am -
10:30am. (Race Day Registration starts at 6:00am)
As a volunteer you will get a volunteer shirt and are invited to the Vulcan Run
Volunteer Party, Monday, Oct. 29th from 6pm - 8pm at Vulcan Park. We will have some great food there from Zoes Kitchen and provide details
of the volunteer assignment.

The Vulcan Run is expected to exceed 2,000 runners this year!! Rain or shine, we will on November 3, 2007 be host the RRCA National 10K
Championship. Come run the race, or come volunteer, Be a part of the Vulcan

12-08 - Village to Village 5 mi - in English Village - 8:00AM

I could use some finish line help this week-end at the RACE TO THE COURTHOUSE 5K. The run begins at the downtown YMCA at 21st St. and 4th Ave.
N. and ends at Linn Park behind the Courthouse (not on the 21st St. side but on the 20th St. side). I need data input person at the Y by 7:00AM (side entrance on 21st St. between 3rd and 4th Ave. N. and finish line people at the Linn Park by 8:00AM. I need 3 people at the finish line.
