|Veterans Remembrance Ruck 10K Ruck & 5K Run is an event to honor Veterans and remember their services and sacrifice. The 10K Ruck is designed to be done with Teams of 4. (Individuals may run the race, but we encourage you to find a team of 4.) Rucks are weighted backpacks or vests – 40 lbs. for the men and 20 lbs. for the women. All team members must cross the finish line to get official time. (*Due to availability of 40 lb. versus 45 lb. vest at sporting good stores, we have decreased the men’s weight requirement.)
The 5K Run is designed for anyone that wants to run to support Veterans and have a fun time while doing so. Participants in the 5K Run DO NOT need to wear a weighted vest or backpack.
Team RWB is a non-profit veterans organization with the mission to enrich the lives of American Veterans by connecting them to their community through fitness and social activities such as this Ruck/Run or other.
