Mutt Strut: Dog-Friendly 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run

NEW DECADE, NEW LOCATION

Hand in Paw is mixing it up this year by relocating Mutt Strut to Homewood Central Park, and you and your pup are invited to participate in the new and improved races!

Hand in Paw’s 11th Annual Mutt Strut: Dog-Friendly 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run will take place on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Homewood Central Park!  Join us for a day full of dogs, energetic races, local vendors, prizes, food trucks and more, all while supporting a great cause!

Mutt Strut Vendor Village will be open from 7:00AM-10:00AM!

Prizes will be awarded in the following categories:

  • Fastest Dog (5K)
  • Slowest Dog (5K)
  • Fastest Human (male and female)
  • 2nd Fastest Human (male and female)
  • 3rd Fastest Human (male and female)
  • Top Individual Fundraiser
  • Top Team Fundraiser
  • Best Dog Costume
  • Best Human + Dog Duo Costume
  • Best Team Costume

WHY MUTT STRUT?

  • Fundraise for a pawsome cause—all proceeds benefit Hand in Paw!
  • Receive a race t-shirt, doggie bandana and a swag bag filled with goodies and dog items
  • Get some exercise (in costume, if you wish!) with your doggo, family and friends
  • Enjoy visiting local vendors in our Mutt Strut Vendor Village, as well as several food trucks
  • Participate in numerous fun activities
  • Compete for several different award categories with the potential to win amazing prizes
  • Listen to great music and hang out with our emcee Rob Conrad and Cassie Moore from Magic 96
